Day 1Welcome to Indonesia
Depending on your flight, arrival in Jakarta or Bali for overnight.

Day 2Jakarta/Bali - Labuan Bajo
Early morning, you have a short drive to the airport to get your flight to Labuan Bajo. When you arrive in Flores, you meet the rest of the group and have a short boat navigation to reach Komodo national park. In the afternoon, you have a briefing on the equipment before starting paddling around.

Day 3Kelor - rinca
You start the day snorkelling off the island of Kelor before paddling to a small village where we get to meet the locals. We then continue paddling to reach mangroves and finally to a great snorkelling spot where we might meet with turtles, clown fish and much more. In the afternoon we have the option of paddling or boating to the fishing village on Rinca . Used to be living with the Dragons in their neighbourhood, the village is now protected by a high fence around the village to keep the beasts out.
This will be followed by a sunset boat ride to a small mangrove island, inhabited by bats. This is a great sight enjoyed from our top deck with thousands of bats flying into the night sky for their evening meal.

Day 4Rinca - Manta Point - Sebayur (B-L-D)
Early morning, we arrive in the Rinca ranger station to go for a hike on the island. It is the best place in the park to see the Dragons as their numbers and density are larger there. We will be shown around the park by a trained Ranger who will explain the eco-system, the Dragon's habits, the life of other inhabitants on the island such as the Macaque, Buffalo, Deer, Tree snakes etc. After a drink at the Ranger's Cafe' we will start heading west to Manta Point to if we are lucky snorkel with these gracious animals. After lunch we will then start our paddle towards Sebayor Kecil to set up our last beach camp for the trip.

Day 5Sebayur- Kanawa - Labuan Bajo - Jakarta/Bali
After an early snorkeling in front of the camp site, we paddle to the island of Kanawa for some more incredible snorkelling. We then head back to the main land on Flores and have a quick transfer to the airport to catch an afternoon flight to Jakarta or Bali where you spend the night.

Day 6Jakarta/Bali - Goodbye
Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport to catch your international flight.
This itinerary can vary due to local conditions and strength of kayaking team. Days can be shortened or lengthened depending on many factors.
The itinerary commencing and finishing point is optional either from Bali or Jakarta however you must depart from your point of origin. If this differs from your plans, please contact our office directly.

Terms and conditions
Booking a trip with us implies acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale. Each customer is required to complete a registration form and, subject to availability at the time of registration, travellers are expected to pay a deposit of 30% of the total price to complete their booking. Payments can be made online or by bank transfer. You will receive an e-mail with your booking confirmation.
Once your booking is confirmed you will receive an invoice by e-mail. The full balance of the trip must be received at least 30 days before your departure date. We reserve the right to cancel your booking, free of charge, if this deadline is not respected.
If for any reason you have to cancel your trip, we require written confirmation of your decision so please contact us by e-mail, fax or letter. The money you have paid will then be refunded according to the following deductions:
Cancellation received more than 30 days prior to the departure date: No cancellation fees.
Cancellation received 30 to 21 days before the departure date: 30% of trip price will be retained.
Cancellation received within 20 days of the departure date: 70% of trip price will be retained.
Please note if you decide to cancel your trip having agreed, in writing, to pay for additional tailor-made services (hotel, additional flights or activities...), these services are usually non-refundable.
If we have to cancel a departure due to an insufficient number of participants, you will be informed no later than 21 days before departure and a full refund will be issued, you will not be entitled to further compensation. We reserve the rights to cancel departures due to exceptional circumstances which may impact the safety of participants. Such circumstances may include those amounting to 'force majeure' in which case participants will receive a full refund but they will not be entitled to any compensation.
Changes to travel contract
If you wish to make a change to your booking please contact us in writing; you will be expected to pay any fee which might arise from this change. In the event of unforeseen external events, Altaï Indonesia may change some aspects of the travel contract. If any changes are necessary you will be informed as quickly as possible.
The prices on our website are updated regularly and all of the prices we advertise are accurate when published. We reserve the rights to make changes to any of these prices. Before you make a booking we will give you the up-to-date price of your chosen holiday including any supplements, upgrades or additional activities you may have requested. If the number of travellers is fewer than the indicated number of participants on the website, a small group surcharge may be applied. For all of our trips we include details of services, prices and what is/is not included but please be aware that changes to the prices may be necessary in accordance with exchange rates or price changes of various components of the journey.
If you are unable to travel for any reason, you can transfer your booking to another person in which case our modification conditions apply. Both the transferor and transferee will be jointly and severally liable for payment of the total holiday price and other associated expenses. Some airline carriers treat name changes as cancellations and you may be required to pay for the cost of a new ticket.
We strongly recommend that you take out personal travel insurance for your trip with Altaï Indonesia as soon as your booking is confirmed. We advice you to purchase a travel insurance policy which covers flight cancellations, luggage loss and emergency health care. Please look carefully at which activities are covered by your insurer and do not forget to bring all necessary documents and information with you (name of the company, name of the contract, insurance policy number, telephone number...)
- English speaking kayaking guide + Local crew onboard of the boat
- The boat : Escorting us in the Park will be our new 19m X 4m support boat and small tender. The boat is crewed by a Captain, a Cook and a Deck Hands. The boat has a bath room, with a western toilet, and a shower. At the front there is plenty of space for relaxing along with a large covered in dining room at the rear of the boat. Our boat is equipped with 4 cabins and the upper deck has a sun lounge deck with bean bags and deck chairs. We can even set up a hammock for you.
- The tents : When on the islands we have very comfortable insect resistant Safari Style tents that you can stand up in. You will sleep on stretcher style beds which are very comfortable and we even have small stools to sit on around camp. We set up a bush toilet with a toilet tent for some privacy and a nice toilet seat to sit upon.
