Bali and Lombok trekking : Batur, Agung and Rinjani
Day 1 Airport - Seminyak
Arrival in the airport. Meet and greet by our staff, then transfer from airport to Seminyak, night in hotel.
Day 2 Seminyak – Tanah Lot – trek Belimbing
We will leave in the morning to visit the famous temple of Tanah Lot, perched on a giant rock on the sea. After this, we will continue to Belimbing and start our first warming-up trekking through rice paddies and forests. Night in Belimbing in a hotel.
Day 3 Blimbing – Wangayagede
After breakfast, we will leave Belimbing on foot and head to the east and the Wangayagede village, located on the surroundings of Mount Batukaru (2276m). If we are lucky, we will meet some farmers working in the rice fields, and it will help us discover their way of life. We will take our lunch box on the way around Wanagiri village, and we will continue the trek in the rain forest until we reach Wongaya Gede. Check-in in the hotel, Dinner and night in Wangaya Gede
Day 4 Wangayagede – Jatiluwih – Ubud
We will leave the hotel and start walking in the rice fields in a two-hour-trek. We will pass Belulang hot springs, and have lunch in a restaurant with view of Jatiluwih rice terraces. In the afternoon, we will take a short trek to Besi Kalung temple. By the mid-afternoon, we will drive to Ubud, Bali's famous capital of art. Dinner and night in Ubud.
Day 5 Ubud and its surroundings
Morning time dedicated to discover the surounding rice terraces of Ubud. We will have our lunch in Ubud downtown, then you can enjoy some free time in the afternoon: Monkey forest, traditional market, enjoy a spa, and relaxing by the swimming pool. In the evening, you will meet your guide and have dinner together. Night in hotel
Day 6 Ubud – Tampaksiring – Kintamani
In the morning, drive north-east to discover Tampaksiring are. First, visit Tirta Empul temple with its sacred pools which often used by the local people for purification rituals. Afterwards, take the 300 steps of Gunung Kawi Mausoleum, an ancient tomb of the last king of Udayana dinasty. Enjoy a short walk in the area. We will then drive up to the mountainous area of Batur volcano and the village of Kintamani, perched on the rim of the caldeira. We will trek our way down to the lake and the black lava fields and reach our small pension. Dinner and night in pension
Day 7 Batur – Sidemen
Around 3AM in the morning, we leave our pension and start our climb of Mount Batur volcano. Upon our arrival at the top, we will wait for the sunrise to discover the magnificent panorama of Lake Batur, Mount Abang, and Mount Agung. Afterwards, we will go back down and continue our trekking to see the newly formed craters. We will arrive on foot at the hot springs of Toya Bungkah village. Enjoy some relaxed time in the hot pools. In the afternoon, proceed to Sidemen village, where you will spend the night. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 8 Sidemen – Selat
From Sidemen, we will drive to Tenganan village, one of Bali's most ancient village. Visit the traditional village to discover their tradition, then go trekking in the palm plantations and rice terraces. In the afternoon, transfer to Selat, a small village very close to Agung volcano.
Day 9 Agung – Amed
Very early at 1AM, we will drive to Pasar Agung, the starting point of our hike to Mount Agung, the highest volcano in Bali. The hike can be tough and steep. At daybreak, we will reach the crater rim, towering at 2850m. This point offers a 180 degrees panorama of Bali as well as Mount Rinjani in Lombok when the weather is clear. We then go back down by the same path. After some rest and a good shower in the hotel, we will leave for Amed, a fishermen village located on the eastern tip of Bali, famously renowned for its underwater bio diversity. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner and night in the hotel.
Day 10 Amed
In the morning, start to discover the surroundings of Amed: traditional salt industry, plantations of tamarind, palm wine distillators living on the mountain.. All along with the beautiful panorama to Mount Agung and Lombok Strait. Free time in the afternoon. You can easily go snorkeling from the beach, or take a massage..
Day 11 Amed – Lombok – Senaru
Transfer to Padangai (or from Amed Harbour) and speed boat to Lombok. Your Balinese guide say goodbye to you as you will join our Lombok team for the Rinjani trek. Transfer to Senaru and night in hotel. Meals not included.
Day 12 Senaru - Sembalun - Pelawangan 2 (2700m)
After having breakfast, you will be transferred to Sembalun, the eastern gate of Rinjani National Park, for administration recording. You will start your hike on a vast savanah, Tengengean camp and Pelawangan. After 8 hours trek, you will reach Pelawangan 2 camp on the crater rim (2600 m), where you will camp for the night.
Day 13 Pelawangan 2 - Rinjani - Pelawangan 1 (2630m)
Very early at 2AM, start to hike up to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3726 m). After a 3 hour hike, you will arrive at the peak which offers you a breathtaking sunrise and panorama to all directions. When the weather is clear, you can see Mount Agung on the west and Mount Tambora on the east. Afterwards, you will go back to your camp to have some breakfast. Then you will continue today's trek down to Segara Anak Lake. Take some rest in the hot springs of Gua Susu and Pancuran Emas. In the afternoon, climb up to Pelawangan 1 for your second night camping.
Day 14 Pelawangan 1 – Sengiggi
Enjoy your last breakfast on the camp as the sun rises. After that, you will start your trek down to the rainforest of Senaru, the northern gate of the National Park. Transfer to Senggigi village. Free time and night in the hotel.
Day 15 Sengiggi – Sanur
In the morning, you will take a speed boat back to Padangbai and from there transfer to Sanur. Meals not included.
Day 16 Sanur – Airport
According to your plane schedule, transfer back to airport for your international flight
