Hike and Cruise

Indonesia is a huge archipelago with countless islands and islets. Travelling on a boat is probably the best way to discover some areas that are not reachable with any other transport means. That's especially true in the far east of Indonesia, from the Lesser Sunda Islands to Raja Ampat archipelago. We use local wooden boats called phinisis that run with engines even if sometimes it's possible to set sails. The longest crossings are made by night and very often the travllers will wake up and discover a very different panorama than the one they left the day before. The crew is made of local people, which are sailors from father to son since ages, and they are the best experts of Indonesian seas. The meals are mostly taken on board, and they are made of stock prepared before leaving in addition of daily caught fishes and additional supplies that can be found in local market places. The boats cant accomodate more than 12 people, so everyone can enjoy a true travel experience and feel its uniqueness.
